During this highly interactive class complete with exercises and real-world examples that accurately reflect situations that attendees are faced with on a daily basis, attendees will be introduced to Simply OutSTANDing™, our proven, practical, easy-to-use, six-step communication approach designed to help professionals embrace the role of media spokesperson, strengthen their confidence levels, and communicate ideas with increased clarity.

Specifically, participants will:

  1. Explore what news organizations need from those that they interview
  2. Learn a six-step approach to develop and deliver a message that will resonate with the intended audience
  3. Acquire tips on navigating questions and potential roadblocks and how to stay in control during an interview

During the class, attendees will participate in “on-camera” television interviews to practice their newly learned skills and techniques. Interviews will be reviewed and constructive critiques will be provided.
